Escaldes-Engordany, March 17th, 2020
Due to the establishment of additional exceptional measures for the coronavirus health emergency situation, the Government of Andorra wants to take a series of supportive measures that will be included in an Omnibus Law.
On the other hand, FEDA parapublic, as well as the other distributors of electricity in the country, will provide all companies and self-employed workers who need to make payments, with a six-month interest-free deferral on their electricity bills. This support measure will be accessible from now until the end of the Coronavirus crisis.
Andorra Telecom has taken on this initiative as well and will allow companies that are in need to postpone the payment of their telecommunications bill for six months without interest. This may be requested for the current month’s invoice up until the end of the Coronavirus crisis.
Throughout these days a number of support measures have been mentioned, such as:
- The granting of flexible credit lines.
- Deferral and fractioning of taxes.
- The downward review of the CASS contributions for those that are self-employed.
- Flexible rent and mortgage payments for commercial premises.
A law of urgent measures associated with this exceptional situation will contain the economic and social measures that were debated, yesterday, March 16, by the representatives of the employers’ association and the unions of the country.
Here at Ancei, we are keeping an eye on any updates that occur and we want to offer our services to perform any of these procedures on behalf of our clients.
