22 May ANDORRA AND CYPRUS HAVE SIGNED A DOUBLE TAX AGREEMENT
Cyprus and Andorra have signed a Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) during the 128th session of the Foreign Ministers of the Council of Europe.
This is the 8th DTA that Andorra signs. The DTA currently in force are with: Spain, France, Portugal, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the announcement, the text agreeded between the two jurisdictions will help to further develop the economic relationship and improve tax cooperation between the Republic of Cyprus and the Principality of Andorra, since Andorra is one of the few European jurisdictions with which Cyprus did not have a DTA.
Currently, Andorra and Cyprus have domestic regulations where the distribution of dividends is taxed at 0%, so both countries are a good investment alternative for foreign shareholders.
